Lipstick, Pigs, And Political BS. "Enough Is Enough."

Yo,

'Swift Boat' Politics sucks. Can we please stick to the issues? The economy sucks, we're in a war with no end in sight for no reason, there is a major energy crisis, people are losing their homes, jobs are leaving America at an alarming rate...

...and we are talking about 'pigs and lipstick'.

Really, Senator McCain? Here's what the good Senator thought about Hillary Clinton's plans for the country...

Here's your homeboy, Tricky DICK Cheney, calling it like he sees it...in 2004.

What galls me the most about this is how people will take things totally out-of-context and manipulate them for their own means. This is the EXACT SAME REFERENCE BARACK OBAMA used to talk about the McCain/Palin agenda, which is a continuation of what has this country in a complete mess right now. The reference is obviously not about Sarah Palin herself and the media, the right-wing, and the McCain campaign are gonna get as much juice and run outta this as possible. Maybe he shoulda went with, "You can gift-wrap a turd, but it's still a turd."

...and he used the reference THE EXACT SAME WAY, John McCain did when talking about Hillary Clinton and her policies. Watch for yourself.

It is clear as day that he is talking about the policies put forth by the McCain/Palin campaign as obvious as the nose on Ronald McDonald's face.

The longer they can keep Sarah Palin away from reporters asking real questions about the real issues, the better it is for McCain. The more the media is force-fed (and force-feeding) this 'Mommy For America' image, as opposed to asking real legitimate questions about the real issues that were mentioned in the first paragraph of this blog. 'People' and 'Us' Magazines don't count. This is a POLITICAL ELECTION.

Just when we thought we were gonna have a real election...dag.

You can put all the lipstick you want on a conservative Republican, but it's still an idiot that will obscure the facts, change the subject, flip-flop on their stances, and outright lie to the American public. It's your choice; if you are really happy with your life in this country, then vote for what you believe in.

Here's what I believe..."Enough Is Enough".

Obama/Biden '08.

Respect and Grace, with lipstick all in your face.

LOL....good post.

The "Mommy of America" bs that is floating around IS important. Being a mother and being a mother of a teenage daughter, Palin's stances on abstinence, family, etc. are important. I've actually just had this conversation with someone yesterday (another male) that said that Palin's daughter having a child out of wedlock (lawdy) isn't an issue along with her being portrayed as some perfect mother. I beg to differ.

Republicans for the past 8 years (and during Reagan/ Daddy Bush years) have made policies that directly effected programs targeting teens sexual health and teen parents who are disproportionately black and latino. Teen parents are more likely to live in poverty and to drop out of high school.

It displays the hypocrisy of the Republican platform on comprehensive sexual education and so-called family values. I think on some levels they want people to by pass this "Mommy of America" issue so we won't look too closely at these important issues. For me and the work that I do, Republicans are bad for business. Funding for HIV and other social service programs is reduced to close to nothing when the Republicans are in control.

Palin's family situation and her personal views on family and sexual education can't be just swept under the rug so quickly. To me, its a part of the national debate.

Now....the lipstick and pigs crap...whatever :/.

was rambling but you get the point....lata
